I trust everyone is keeping warm on these cold days!!!
I wanted to take some time to go over some very important information regarding your pool and the cold weather.
First and foremost, in Austin during these cold months your pool can be a gleaming beauty compared to how you may be used to seeing it during the summer months. Sometimes this may be true and there is a very good reason for this…….its COLD!!!!
Algae is the main culprit behind non clear water very often and it cannot live or grow effectively in cold water. Cold water is not only harmful for algae, it is also harmful for us as well!!!
Sometimes it may be a bit easy to become complacent regarding basic pool safety because we are not having fun with it and it almost becomes out of sight and mind. This is when we need to be the most aware during these months because the water is so cold and the effects it has on us are very dangerous in each and every manor.
